I recently attended a yogurt making party hosted by Megan Conrad from the Dairy MAX.  With that yogurt, I'm coming up with several recipes using yogurt, homemade of course!  Here's a few links to homemade yogurt recipes.  I worked on this biryani recipe after my undergraduate research advisor, Dr. Devendra Singh, made some over Christmas.  Biryani is a rice-based dish made with spices and meat or vegetables.

This is my recipe, adjusted for my taste.  You may adjust it how you please.

Spice Mix - Combine all ingredients

1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp tumeric
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/4 ground cloves
1/4 cardamon
1/4 cayenne powder
1 bay leaf
