These are so easy, but amazingly addictive. Perfect for Christmas treats. Ingredients:
In a double broiler, melt the chocolate. Stream in the beer slowly while whisking. The chocolate might start to get lumpy or seize, but just keep stirring. Once the chocolate is completely melted, remove from heat and add walnut. Gently mix the walnuts to coat with chocolate. Once completely coated, spread walnut and chocolate mixture over a pan lined with parchment paper. REfridgerate for at least 8 hours. Break chocolate walnuts into pieces by hand and serve. Make sure to keep the chocolate walnuts at room temperature or cooler. For spiced version, use Bison Brew GingerBread Ale and add 1/2 teaspoon ginger, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1/4 teaspoon cloves. |
