Lowchen are excellent candidates for service dogs as they tend to be very attuned to people, natural alert dogs, healthy, and nonshedding (or most often referred to as hypoallergenic*).
Taco Chip is a neutered male that has earned his AKC Star Puppy. He was a puppy that was returned due to his owner unable to manage typical puppy behavior. In our home, he is reliably housetrained indoors, excellent with other dogs and people, very quiet, and low key in our home. He is attentive to commands and eager to comply. As a highly intelligent dog, his handler will need to be able to set boundaries and think a few steps ahead. Taco Chip be ready for continued and public access training and task training. He was born on July 3, 2023 and raised with Puppy Culture. He is also available as a therapy dog prospect. He is currently located in Minneapolis, MN.
*There are no dogs that are 100% hypoallergenic. There are dogs that are nonshedding and low dander that tend to be less allergenic. Lowchen are considered hypoallergenic, nonshedding, and low dander.
